Paul, this group will turn into a contest section of sorts. Raw footage will be provided in several categories (promo, commercial, music video, short film). You (by yourself or as a team) can then take the footage and create a spec spot with it. The results will end up on the front page for the ReelPost community to vote on the top project. This is still a work in progress. But for now, a discussion group will be opened up for each category. You can submit any spec spot you did for now. Right now it's informal. Give it a few weeks till we have everything ironed out.

Here is how the community showcase will work... Within the next 3 weeks, I am going to upload some rights free footage. There will be several categories to choose from (promo, commerical, music video, short film). There will be all the raw elements necessary to build a finished product. A team (or individual) will take the parts and try and build an original whole. Each category will be featured on the front page. Users will get to vote for the best.

Hey guys, check the video I uploaded called "Animated Comic Test", it's more or less of an example for stuff we could do here on the Community Showcase as it's something i did for some kids me and a friend met on youtube, they sent us the footage online and we did that short little demo. If any of you has any ideas, questions or suggestions for how we should kick start this group by all means post them here.
